My personal recommendations, and fall favorites, are alstromerias (available in so many beautiful colors), freesia (for their sweet scent) solidago (a wheat-like yellow bloom for it's earthy vibe) and ranunculus (for it's flaky, almost feathered looking petals, very romantic). Other popular autumn choices are sunflowers and gerbera daisies, and, the year-round greats like roses, lilies, and hydrangea. This is a great season to incorporate branches and berries into bouquets and floral arrangements. Try substituting twine and stems of wheat or bunches of fresh herbs in place of traditional ribbons and bows.
